Thanks for taking the time to read the article Dale. I do believe a part of it had to deal with internalized racism. I grew up in the suburbs where I saw very little Black people. I grew up normalizing White as the norm and anything outside of that as foreign. I had to unlearn that and begin to accept my diversity as my greatest asset.
