The Weeknd has been telling a story since last year that finally wrapped up at the Super Bowl Halftime show.

A lot of people have been wondering what has been going on with The Weeknd. Wearing the same outfit for months now, the artist has been telling us a story about fame and fortune.

It all started in August when The Weeknd showed up at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) wearing makeup that made him look bruised and beat up.

At the time, people speculated that it was nothing new and just a part of his latest album’s, After Hours, aesthetic.

But it’s nothing to be alarmed about. Those who follow The Weeknd closely know this look isn’t anything new. The bruised face is actually part of his current-era aesthetic. His most recent album cover for After Hours features a similar look, as does the music video for “Blinding Lights”.

However, rumors started to heat up that something was different when he came to the American Music Awards (AMAs) in November dressed in the same outfit but with his face bruised up and covered in face…
